Tapoban Trio Charitable Trust was founded by a dedicated group of volunteers inspired by the teachings and humanitarian vision of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of The Art of Living Foundation. Deeply rooted in the principles of seva (selfless service), sadhana (spiritual practice), and satsang (community and upliftment), the Trust was established as a platform to translate spiritual commitment into meaningful social impact.
The name “Tapoban”, which evokes the serenity and discipline of a forest hermitage, reflects the Trust’s aspiration to cultivate peace, purpose, and purity in society. The word “Trio” signifies the collective synergy of tri energy named Ichha Shakti (Power of Will or Deshire), Karma shakti (Power of Action) & Gyan Shakti (Power of Knowledge) which form the foundation for achieving success in any endeavor. Tapoban Trio Charitable Trust stands as a living example of how inner transformation can lead to outer action—building a bridge between personal growth and collective good, in alignment with the teachings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
